I agree with Latimer. Hunter was nice to talk to but this shop cannot be trusted for anything outside of oil changes. I came in spring of 2025 for an oil change and received a full inspection and was told to come back for a belt and bushings replacement for $600 which sounded reasonable. Came back six months later and this time Hunter was there and they told me I needed to have both of my cv axles replaced as well as the rack and inner tie rods and pinions and outer. Mind you I have a 2011 Tacoma in great condition and low mileage (135,000) This quote came to over $5,000 and he kept pushing me to do it all that day and even almost convinced me to sign up for a credit card via text to get the work done. What’s really shitty is this was my dad’s truck and he was a mechanic most of his life and I told him that and they knew I didn’t have the money to spend like that. They must work off commission because he became a little desperate and annoyed when I decided to wait and not request a credit loan or get the work to be done that day. Luckily, I decided to leave and I went and got other quotes and they told me that I had some swing in one of the axles to keep an eye on it and I did need

Needed an oil change and had to squeeze it into very busy schedule. I drove over to Precision Auto Care and was pleasantly surprised to see they were having a special on full synthetic oil changes! Yay! And it really was a special, as I know the price at a few nearby places. They got my car in about 5 minutes after I arrived. Guy at the desk was very friendly and polite. Took a short time to get it back, and I was on my way. The place was clean, friendly, why would I pay more for an oil change elsewhere?

They were very nice and took the time to explain everything in a way I could understand. I originally thought I had one issue, but they explained what the real issue was and were able to show me exactly what was going on. They helped me in a timely manner, and I felt they were very honest throughout the process. I would definitely return to this location again.

To share my experiences with Precision Tune first of all I want to say I thought they was just a tuneup shop. I had no clue that they did more than that. I have a 2004 Chevy trailblazer that had major issues. Being the vehicle was 25 years old, I didn’t think that it could be revived. I took it to Precision Tune at 1465 N. Pleasantburg and explained to Them my concerns, they diagnosed the car and gave me the findings that the vehicle need some shocks brakes new rotors, sway bars, control, arms, head gaskets valve cover gaskets tuneup axle seals the whole 9 yards they performed a outstanding job at 300% when they called me and told me that my car was ready just driving around their parking lot. I noticed a big difference. I had no clue that that car could ride that good they have not a superb job. I would recommend Precision Tune 1465 N. Pleasantburg to everybody go by and see them with your concerns. I give them a five star ratings thank you Precision Tune from now on you will be on my top recommendation list to all of my friends.

I’ll start by saying. Hunter definitely is a nice person and I enjoyed the small talk while waiting on my car to get an oil change. The most recent review from 4 months ago below sound just like my experience with Precision Tune. I was due for an oil changed and decided to take my car there instead of Toyota as I usually do. I called spoke to Hunter and was told the oil change was $69. I took my Highlander in on 12/13/25. I’ve had zero issues with my car since I’ve had it for 4 years. Their diagnosis came back that my water pump needed to be replaced ASAP. I told them all I wanted them to do was an oil change. They gave me a quote for a water pump totaling $1,500. I got the oil change and left. Shortly after leaving I decided to avoid it overheating I would park it until I got the water pump replaced. So my car was driven 5 miles back home and parked since Saturday. I work up Sunday, Monday Tuesday and noticed something had been leaking from my car. I touched the spot and realized it was the oil. I popped my hood and checked the dipstick and no oil on it. I called and spoke with Josh who advised me to bring it back in. I informed him that due to potential issues with water pump I w
